[026] Video/Action

[When China turns on the feed, it's easy to tell he's sitting at the Pokemon Center, except he's not in Ecruteak anymore. He smiles at the camera.]

Nihao! I was hoping to give away all these eggs, aru.

[He moves the camera for it to focus on the eggs, which are all snuggled into a red warm blanket within a basket. After letting the camera take it all in for two minutes, China moves it back onto himself.]

I have Eevee, Dratini, and Bagon eggs. I can be found at the Center in Goldenrod and I can assure you that they'll all grow up to be just as beautiful and powerful as their mothers!

[If you look carefully, you might notice something moving under China's white sweater as well as a baby Chikorita napping on his lap. Oh, and hey! His hair's grown back and is now in it's usual ponytail once again!]

[OOC: There is still time to get an egg! There's one more Bagon slot open and two more Dratini slots! Here is the link.]

Actually, I only have eight, aru.

I'm an only child, so that's already pretty out there. Younger or older?

I'm the oldest out of our group, aru.

Though I still remember how it used to be when I was an only child myself since I didn't meet my first sibling until I was just beginning adulthood.

Gosh, being a country sounds really different. But that means you're an older brother.

Well, we live like everyone else for the most part. Except we tend to have houses all over our countries so we'll be comfortable wherever we go and of course we have numerous job occupations, aru. It's quite tiring sometimes.

...I just wish my siblings would treat me like their older brother, aru. Things have not been the same since they grew up.

Sounds just like the way people are, really. Some of my friends have siblings, and they used to tell horror stories.

Actually, my family tends to have decent horror stories, aru. Though, it seems as though Japan's horror is the most popular. Have you ever heard of J-horror?

Japan-- like Japanese? [a shake of his head, here.] Never. What's it about?

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-15 10:52 am (UTC)(link)
It mainly focuses on psychological horror and building up tension, for example, you know something bad is going to happen but you don't know when, aru.

It's very different from some Western horrors where people just blow up all of a sudden.

Well, different cultures, different genres. Back at home, we had a lot of detective mysteries and stuff like that, and most of the horror novels were about gothic churches and people coming back to life.

Where are you from anyway? Come to think of it, I don't believe you have given me your name yet either, aru.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh-- sorry! I really got wrapped up in the conversation. I'm Rael, and the country I'm from is kind of small and obscure. You probably wouldn't have heard of it.

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-26 10:22 am (UTC)(link)
Please, tell me about it anyway, aru.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-28 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
Well, like I said, it's a small country-- and we're kind of sandwiched between some other countries. We do a lot of trade with our neighbours, and lots of exchanges too... [hm, thinking.] I guess our trains aren't as good as the neighbouring country's, but we have the better computers.

Hmm... Almost sounds like a combination of Switzerland and Japan, or Germany, aru.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-09-05 07:04 am (UTC)(link)
... can't say I've ever heard of those.

Switzerland is this European country that's surrounded by bigger ones, as for the embodiment, he seems to shoot at anyone who tries to run across his lawn, aru.

Japan, on the other hand, is an island nation and his embodiment is one of my many siblings.
