[026] Video/Action

[When China turns on the feed, it's easy to tell he's sitting at the Pokemon Center, except he's not in Ecruteak anymore. He smiles at the camera.]

Nihao! I was hoping to give away all these eggs, aru.

[He moves the camera for it to focus on the eggs, which are all snuggled into a red warm blanket within a basket. After letting the camera take it all in for two minutes, China moves it back onto himself.]

I have Eevee, Dratini, and Bagon eggs. I can be found at the Center in Goldenrod and I can assure you that they'll all grow up to be just as beautiful and powerful as their mothers!

[If you look carefully, you might notice something moving under China's white sweater as well as a baby Chikorita napping on his lap. Oh, and hey! His hair's grown back and is now in it's usual ponytail once again!]

[OOC: There is still time to get an egg! There's one more Bagon slot open and two more Dratini slots! Here is the link.]

Well, basically, my soul is connected to the land. I'm the spirit of a Nation put into a human form.

The special abilities I had back home included fast-healing and longevity, aru.

Gosh, so you're actually a country?

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-08 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
That I am, aru.

Of course, I have my own free will and feelings, but I'm easily influenced by my people.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-09 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
And is it just... your country that has, you know. Or does all countries...?

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-09 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, no, in my world, all of the countries have a personification, aru. Of course I know most of them since I do trade all around the world.

There's a handful of us that are here in Johto, actually.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-09 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
... I think that's amazing. What kind of a country is your country?

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-09 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it is one of the largest countries in the Eastern Hemisphere of the Earth and it is also home to the largest population in the world, aru.

Both the land and I have been existing for over four thousand years. I've become quite an economic power too in the recent years, aru.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-09 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
... I can't even imagine living for over four thousand years. Does that mean you can go on living forever?

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-09 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Not exactly, aru. I can live for a very long time, that is true, but even Nations can die.

I've seen it happen, unfortunately, aru.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-11 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Gosh, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to bring up something sensitive.

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-11 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
It's not as bad as it once before, aru. I've just been lucky that no Nation has died in a long time.

[China waves a hand, not wishing to speak about this any longer.]

Despite who we are, we can still have brothers and sisters, aru.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-11 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
Given everything, you must have dozens.

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-11 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, I only have eight, aru.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-11 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
I'm an only child, so that's already pretty out there. Younger or older?

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-11 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
I'm the oldest out of our group, aru.

Though I still remember how it used to be when I was an only child myself since I didn't meet my first sibling until I was just beginning adulthood.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-11 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
Gosh, being a country sounds really different. But that means you're an older brother.

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-11 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
Well, we live like everyone else for the most part. Except we tend to have houses all over our countries so we'll be comfortable wherever we go and of course we have numerous job occupations, aru. It's quite tiring sometimes.

...I just wish my siblings would treat me like their older brother, aru. Things have not been the same since they grew up.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-13 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Sounds just like the way people are, really. Some of my friends have siblings, and they used to tell horror stories.

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-13 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, my family tends to have decent horror stories, aru. Though, it seems as though Japan's horror is the most popular. Have you ever heard of J-horror?

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-15 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Japan-- like Japanese? [a shake of his head, here.] Never. What's it about?

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-15 10:52 am (UTC)(link)
It mainly focuses on psychological horror and building up tension, for example, you know something bad is going to happen but you don't know when, aru.

It's very different from some Western horrors where people just blow up all of a sudden.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-15 06:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, different cultures, different genres. Back at home, we had a lot of detective mysteries and stuff like that, and most of the horror novels were about gothic churches and people coming back to life.

video.

[identity profile] gochuugoku.livejournal.com 2011-08-16 09:39 am (UTC)(link)
Where are you from anyway? Come to think of it, I don't believe you have given me your name yet either, aru.

video.

[identity profile] regives.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 05:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh-- sorry! I really got wrapped up in the conversation. I'm Rael, and the country I'm from is kind of small and obscure. You probably wouldn't have heard of it.
